Zain KSA Appoints Eng. Saad bin Abdulrahman Al-Sadhan as Chief Executive Officer Effective July 1, 2025
Zain Saudi Arabia, a leading provider of telecommunications and digital services, announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Eng. Saad bin Abdulrahman Al-Sadhan as the company’s Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2025. Al-Sadhan had been serving as Acting CEO since August 2024.
With over 22 years of experience in the telecommunications and information technology sector, Al-Sadhan has held several executive roles, most notably as CEO of the Business, Wholesale, and Operators sector at Zain KSA. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in developing the company’s business portfolio, enabling digital transformation across the Kingdom.
He also led the launch of Zain Cloud, an initiative aimed at advancing digital transformation in both the public and private sectors and supporting the realization of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. His efforts contributed to building an integrated digital ecosystem combining advanced telecommunications, diversified cloud services, and 5G-based digital solutions.
Since joining Zain KSA in April 2016, Al-Sadhan has prioritized strategic partnerships, helping shape long-term collaboration strategies with both government entities and global tech giants. These efforts facilitated the rapid introduction and localization of cutting-edge technologies in the Kingdom.
Al-Sadhan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, along with several professional certifications in leadership and IT. He is also a graduate of the General Management Program at INSEAD, the European Institute of Business Administration.
